Betsy is an Attorney admitted to the Oregon and Idaho State Bar Associations. 

Betsy represents NRU's members with Load Following power sales contracts and Network Transmission contracts in various planning, legal and administrative processes regarding BPA wholesale power supply and transmission service.  Such representation includes contracts or rates that BPA may offer to other customer groups such as the Residential Exchange Program or Investor Owned Utilities or service to the Direct Service industries. 

She previously worked as an attorney for Idaho Conservation League as an Energy Efficiency Associate.  There she was a member of the Idaho Power Integrated Resource Planning Advisory Council and a member of the Governor's Energy Efficiency Task Force, Idaho Strategic Energy Alliance.

As a Legal Intern for an Oregon State Senator she participated in the drafting of the Oregon Renewable Portfolio Standard.
