
Geoff is the Assistant Director of Northwest Requirements Utilities. NRU represents the
interest of Bonneville Power Administration’s full and partial
requirements customers. Areas of
focus in his employment with NRU have been as the lead participant and
expert witness for NRU in the BPA rate proceeding power and transmission
rate proceedings. Also, of
interest has been his work in the area of Bonneville Power
Administrations power supply role in the future.
Prior
to his work with
NRU, Geoff was employed at Power Resource Managers.
Areas of focus at PRM included industry restructuring, rate
unbundling and representation of PRM’s clients’ interests in the 2001
BPA rate proceeding.
He worked at the Public Power Council from 1986 to 1996.
There he held the position of Senior Economist and was involved
in numerous BPA rate proceedings and other processes.
Prior
to his work with the PPC, Geoff worked at Bonneville Power
Administration in the areas of power rates and financial management from
1981 to 1986.
Geoff started his career in the electric power
industry in 1979 as a public utility specialist at the Federal
Energy Regulatory Commission in Washington, D.C.
